VET isn't just for one type of student

Whether you're planning to continue your education, enter the workforce or explore different industries, VET provides practical skills, valuable experience and nationally recognised qualifications that can open up a wide range of opportunities.
VET can provide pathways to further study, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment. Students may continue to Certificate III or IV qualifications, diplomas or higher education, undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship, or use the skills and experience they have gained to enter the workforce.
Importantly, VET also gives you the opportunity to discover what you enjoy. Through hands-on learning and industry experiences, you can explore different interests, build confidence and gain a better understanding of the careers that may suit your strengths and interests.
