You may be well-suited to becoming a VET trainer if you:

Have completed an apprenticeship or have 5+ years of industry experience
-
Possess strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
-
Enjoy working with young people and supporting their career pathways
What qualifications are required?
To teach VET in schools, you will need:

Relevant industry qualifications and experience
-
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
If you do not yet hold the Certificate IV, SMRVC and participating schools can support you with enrolling and completing the qualification.
