This course equips you with the practical skills and knowledge to support allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists. You’ll focus on client care, communication, and practical skills to work in healthcare settings under direct, indirect, or remote supervision according to the individual Allied Health Assistant’s scope of practice and experience.
This course is considered a partial completion as to achieve this qualification; students must have completed at least 120 hours of clinical placement as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency, which is difficult to achieve whilst still in school.
